Unless expressly negotiated otherwise, LSM offers a limited warranty on workmanship only.
Warranty for Workmanship
Effective Date: September 1, 2024
Warranty Period: 90 days
1. Coverage
LSM Systems Engineering, Inc warrants that all work performed shall be free from defects in workmanship under normal use and service for a period of 90 days from the date of delivery. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the services. LSM recommends that customers inspect parts for any damage when parts are received so any defects can be identified in a timely manner.
2. Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
- Defects or damage resulting from improper installation, misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, or alteration.
- Normal wear and tear.
- Any parts, materials, or products provided by third parties.
- Services performed outside the scope of the original work order or any unauthorized modifications.
3. Claims Procedure
To make a claim under this warranty, the customer must notify LSM in writing of the defect within the warranty period and provide proof of purchase. All claims must include a detailed description of the defect. LSM will issue a Return Material Authorization (RMA) and the defective part must be returned to LSM for inspection, at the customer’s expense, unless otherwise agreed.

4. Remedies
If a defect in workmanship is found within the warranty period, LSM will, at its option:
- Repair the defective workmanship at no charge to the customer.
- Replace the defective part or component at no charge to the customer.
- Refund the original cost of the work, if repair or replacement is not feasible.
5. Limitation of Liability
This warranty is limited to the extent stated above, and LSM shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages resulting from any defect in workmanship. This warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty provided by LSM, and all other warranties, whether express or implied, are hereby disclaimed.
6. Governing Law
This warranty shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Michigan.
